Located in a quite, rural location just south of the market town of Kendal, The Strickland Arms is easily reached from all directions.

Those travelling from afar may take the M6 motorway to Junction 36, where they should follow the signs towards the South Lakes. After following the A590 for around 5 miles, take a left turn signposted towards Barrow and the Lake District Peninsulas.

Follow this road for a matter of just 200 yards and then take a right towards Sizergh Castle, and the Strickland Arms is found a matter of half a mile further along.

This convenient setting is just perfect for relaxing after a day on the fells or sailing on the lakes. A leisurely lunch can also be taken at The Strickland Arms or feel free to just call in and enjoy a drink by the roaring fire.
